Data Governance at Dartmouth

Data underpin all that we strive to achieve at Dartmouth and are embedded in every decision, interaction, and process.  Innovation and efficiency rely on access to these data.  Data Governance begins from a presumption of openness and availability of data to support excellence in teaching, research, and administration.  A strong Data Governance program provides centralized accountability, documented escalation process for issue resolution, and improved information for decision making.
